  • Absolutely AMAZING! My only regret is that I wish I would have started pelvic therapy way sooner. I had my son four years ago, and ever since my body has felt foreign to me. I am terrible at investing in myself… being a busy mom and running a small business – leaves little time to pour back into myself. Barbelle Pelvic Rehab has been wonderful to help me understand my body and what I can be doing to better myself. Each week I feel stronger and build more self confidence in my new body. I now love it more than I did before!

  • Barbelle has truly been such a gift. After PT I’ve felt relief in chronic pain, received peace of mind, and function better in day to day life. Any person suffering from interstitial cystitis, chronic pelvic pain, or chronic constipation should absolutely consider PT here. Worth every penny!

  • Barbelle Pelvic Rehab truly gave me my life back after my cesarean section. From the significant pain at the incision site to persistent back and shoulder discomfort, Dr. Loren thoughtfully addressed every issue I faced postpartum. I’m now back to weightlifting, bike riding, and even carrying my baby without pain—activities that seem simple, but feel like such victories after childbirth. I’m so thankful I found Barbelle, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the North Georgia area.

Myth or Fact? Knowledge is power. Dr. Rachel brea Myth or Fact? Knowledge is power.
Dr. Rachel breaks down what is true and what are some common misconceptions in the pelvic floor physical therapy space. Hope this sheds some light into your healing and care ❤️
Nobody really tells you what recovery looks like a Nobody really tells you what recovery looks like after a c-section.

You get told to take it easy for six weeks. Then no real support on how to actually rehab your core muscles the correct way.

The truth is, a c-section affects your entire deep core system, not just your abdominals. That includes your pelvic floor. Sometimes some members of the team have to compensate for others. No one checks your scar for mobility. No one checks if your pelvic floor has gotten tense from picking up the slack of weak abdominals.

If you've had a c-section, you may be noticing that things just don't quite feel the same. You could even have pelvic floor symptoms and be asking yourself "why?"

Does this sound like you?

You have a hard time connecting with your abs
You've got a "shelf" or puffiness above your scar
Painful intimacy
UTI like symptoms
Tailbone pain
Leaking
Constipation
You're wondering if you'll ever do ab exercises again, or lift heavy things like you used to (including your own kids)

Most moms just jump back into their exercise classes or their old workout program. But things aren't the same after a c-section. These muscles need to be retrained to work correctly again. It's not just bird dogs and dead bugs. Real rehab looks a lot like a ladder of progression.

We're hosting this workshop because we believe c-section moms need pelvic floor rehab too. Here's what it can mean for you:

Feeling your abs again
Having less scar tissue or less of that shelf appearance
Getting your confidence back to return to workouts

We'll go through scar mobility, what's going on between your core and pelvic floor, diastasis, and how to move again without guessing.

Only 10 spots. This is small on purpose so we can actually work with each of you.
